This leather has almost the same structure as the original VW headliner. The cutouts for the headliner rods are very firmly sewn (no sewn-on pieces). 

Everything is made 'oversize' so that you can adjust and trim where necessary. (see example photo with original roof lining on top of one of our roof linings)
